Membership Benefits

As an inpatient, the Medicare Insurance Part A deductible may be waived for you. (Some restrictions apply. You must be a Senior Advantage Member at the time of admittance.)

(Restrictions include: Waiver does not include physician charges, outpatient services or doctor visits. Waiver may not apply if you have supplemental insurance.)

Direct Doctors Plus – A free physician referral service that helps you locate Southern Nevada physicians. Just call (702) 388-4888.

Designated Member-Only Parking – Senior Advantage parking is available at Valley Hospital and Desert Springs Hospital. Please call (702) 853-3008 for more information and your parking decal.

Free Blood Pressure Checks available at all of The Valley Health System hospitals.

Health News – A quarterly magazine mailed to your home which provides you with the latest health-related news and information on upcoming Senior Advantage events.

Special Events – free lectures by local physicians, health fairs and members-only luncheons offered throughout the year.

Daily newspaper delivered to every hospitalized Senior Advantage member.

Hospital Bill Review Upon Request – a private hospital bill review by a billing representative may be provided by calling the Consolidated Billing Office at: (702) 894-5700. An Interest-free payment plan for any services not covered by insurance is also available.

Discounted prices available in hospital cafeterias and gift shops.

Phone registration is available for preplanned inpatient hospitalization.

AARP Safe Driving Classes are offered monthly and may help you reduce your car insurance rates. Classes are held at Spring Valley Hospital only. Please call (702) 388-4888 to register.

Low-impact water aerobics classes are offered every weekday. Class size is limited. You must have a physician's note to participate. Classes meet at the College of Southern Nevada, West Charleston campus. Call (702) 388-4665 for an information packet.
